Here in the southern united states, pine straw has also seen much popularity due to it's natural aesthetic appeal, and compatabity with it's surroundings. Here in NC we have more pine trees than any other type of tree, and since theyre constantly dropping needles, mulched areas can sometimes get covered up! If your property has a lot of pine trees, consider pinestraw instead of mulch for your landscaping. Nature will refresh it, and your wallet will thank you.
